Tin-Tin.
A young boy who lives with a sailor.
Every single character in the books is a bloke, except for Mrs Castafiore, who looks like a bloke.
And in practically every adventure, Tin-Tin saves a lad from some kind of peril.
I'm not suggesting anything here, but these things are worth noting.
